The Lunch Bag, one of Ireland’s fastest growing companies, is continuing to expand and looking for a Food Scientist to join the team.

We are setting a tradition for the future, where children can avail of a healthy, varied lunch every day without the constraint of cost or food waste.

Your role will include:

• Deliver promotional packs
• Represent The Lunch Bag brand & ethos at all times
• Work as part of a team
• Coordinate hot presentation deliveries
• Deliver training to School Meal Operatives / provide support if issues arrive with oven, probes etc.
• Ensure that schools are following all food handling and safety protocols
• Build relationships with school Principals and Secretaries
• Engage in promotional work

The ideal candidate will have the following skills:

• Customer driven
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to engage with and prioritise customer needs
• Strong attention to detail, organised and flexible
• Ability to use own initiative and work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous customer service experience desirable

Requirements:

• Full, clean Irish driving licence

Other:

• Experience in sales/marketing/promotions preferable

Job Type: Full-time/Permanent Contract

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8 to 16:30

Work Location: On the road, in person

Pay: €28,500 per annum, to increase to €30,000 per annum after successful probation
