The Lunch Bag, one of Ireland’s fastest growing companies, is expanding and are now looking for a Hygiene Operative to join our team.

Your role will include:

• Carrying out scheduled daily cleaning tasks as directed by our Hygiene Team Lead
• Deep cleaning of production, canteen and office areas
• Undertaking floor care duties, including sweeping, mopping and polishing
• Cleaning of production lines and equipment to meet required standards
• Post cleaning checks to make sure everything has been completed properly
• Making sure that everything you do complies with company procedures for Health & Safety and Hygiene protocols
• Ensuring that cleaning and personal protective equipment are functioning correctly at all times
• Reporting any incidents or environmental concerns to your line manager
• Washing walls, windows, and window coverings as needed
• Cleaning, stocking, and maintaining restroom and locker room facilities
• Performing any other reasonable duties that may be allocated by management

Requirements:

• Previous experience in cleaning is advantageous
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and under pressure of time
• Ability to lift up to 15 kgs
• Proficiency in understanding and speaking English

Please note: Our operational hours are closely aligned with primary schools. As a result, when schools are closed, our factory takes a break as well. We pride ourselves on offering our staff consistent pay throughout the academic year, ensuring financial stability.
